The studio

Torrevieja Videogame Studio started from one idea: make games that are a joy to play, games that feel genuine and do something different. The industry has more boxes to tick than ever, and a project has to pay for itself by selling to as many audiences as possible — which is why so little of it is genuine any more, or capable of being disruptive.

I work at my own pace, because I would rather ship something I'm proud of than be first. Every game is an excuse to learn something new.

I tell the story as I go, on the blog and on social media: design decisions, what works, and what I end up throwing away.
